The Radiology Department at Egyptair Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic radiology services for both adults and children and interventional radiology unit that is run by a team of experts that diagnose or treat several disorders with the most minimally invasive technique possible. They utilize of the art technology, including the following: 

1. Two MRI machines, including a 1.5 Tesla Philips Ingenia machine. That is a state of the art magnetic resonance imaging machine used for detailed imaging of body parts.

 2. Two CT scanners, including a CANON 160 slice CT cutting edge computed tomography scanner for advanced imaging.

 3. Five ultrasound machines, including the Philips Epic Elite ultrasound and the GE Logic P9 XD Clear ultrasound, which are advanced ultrasound machines with high precision and 3Dand 4D imaging for diagnosing various medical conditions.

 4. Digital radiography machines for general x-ray imaging.

 5. Digital mammography Fuji-Amulet digital for breast cancer screening.

 6. MILLENSYS PACS system: for archiving and managing medical images and patient data.

  

Radiology services are available during the following hours:

 

Ultrasonography inpatient and outpatient walk-in

Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm

Saturday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

 

CT and general radiography walk-in and MRI by appointments

Saturday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm

 

 

Twenty-four hour emergency service on all machines except the mammography

 

 The hospitals radiologists, radiology technicians and nurse staffing are all licensed and trained to perform their duties in line with current practice standards. The department uses modern technology for appointments reservations and report delivering insuring efficient and accurate patient care.

 

 Additionally, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 emergency services with a dedicated team of technicians and a radiology specialist available to perform emergency radiologist investigations and procedures for patients presenting in the emergency room. This supports ER physicians in providing appropriate patients management.
