With the ongoing support of Professor Dr. Ayman Salah, Chairman of the Board, the medical team in the Cardiac Catheterization Department at EGYPTAIR Hospital, led by Professor Dr. Hazem Shehab (Head of the Cardiology Department) and in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed Youssef (Expert in Cardiology and Valve Diseases from Ain Shams University), successfully performed aortic valve replacement via catheterization without surgery or general anesthesia on a 70-year-old patient suffering from severe aortic stenosis. The procedure was completed successfully within one hour, and the patient was transferred to her room in stable and good health. The hospital administration extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire team of physicians, nurses, and technicians in the Cardiac Catheterization Department, as well as the teams in the Anesthesia and Cardiothoracic Surgery Departments, for their outstanding efforts and cooperation, which contributed to the success of this delicate medical procedure.
