As part of EGYPTAIR Medical Services Companys commitment to promoting health awareness among employees of EGYPTAIR Holding Company and its subsidiaries, and in cooperation with the General Administration of Public Relations and Media, the company organized an awareness seminar on the importance of early breast cancer detection and its role in increasing the chances of treatment and recovery. The seminar was held under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Salah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EGYPTAIR Medical Services Company. The seminar began with a welcome to Dr. Nermin Nasri Halim, Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and a member of the National Campaign for Early Detection of Breast Cancer, and Dr. Aya Shawky, Head of the Radiology Department at EGYPTAIR Medical Services Company, along with female colleagues from EGYPTAIR Holding Company and its subsidiaries. Dr. Nermin Nasri Halim opened the seminar by praising the role of EGYPTAIR Medical Services, particularly its Radiology Department, in providing medical services. She also thanked Philips for sponsoring the event and for providing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and technologies within the hospital, which contribute to early detection efforts. The seminar addressed several important topics, most notably the importance of early detection in increasing the chances of recovery, the correct method for breast self-examination and the appropriate timing for performing it, signs that warrant attention and a doctors consultation, the safety of mammograms, and the importance of adhering to regular checkups even in the absence of symptoms. At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Nermin Nasri Halim was thanked for the valuable medical information and awareness-raising guidance she provided, and all the attending colleagues were thanked for their participation and keen interest in benefiting from the seminar, which enhances awareness of the importance of early detection and promotes a culture of health awareness and prevention.
