A New Achievement for EGYPTAIR Hospital Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Ayman Salah, Chairman of the Board, and in his commitment to continuous development and the use of the latest technologies that greatly contribute to rapid diagnosis. For the first time in the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Unit at EGYPTAIR Hospital, the first case of small bowel disease diagnosis using the smart capsule endoscopy (CAPSO-CAM) technique was successfully performed, with high accuracy and in a non-invasive manner. This technology represents a qualitative leap in improving diagnostic accuracy and early detection of the causes of occult bleeding and gastrointestinal tumors, thus contributing to raising the quality of healthcare provided to patients. This achievement was made possible under the leadership of Dr. Maali El-Sawy, Head of the Gastroenterology Department, and the dedicated doctors and nurses of the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Unit.
