Under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Salah, Chairman and Managing Director of EGYPTAIR Medical Services, and in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain, the Egyptian Society of Surgeons, and the Egyptian Breast Surgeons Group, Department of General Surgery, under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Galhoum, hosted the third Advanced Oncoplastic Breast Surgical Skills Course. As part of the scientific cooperation between Egypt and the United Kingdom, the course witnessed the distinguished participation of a select group of professors and experts from both countries, including Dr. Sara Dooney, Professor Jerome Brara, and Professor Janet Faby, along with a large number of professors of surgery from Egyptian and Arab medical schools, the National Cancer Institute, and physicians from the Armed Forces. The event included a comprehensive scientific program featuring advanced lectures, video demonstrations of breast surgeries, and the performance of several reconstructive surgeries for breast cancer cases, providing a direct practical training opportunity for participating physicians. The course also witnessed a large turnout of physicians and surgeons from various universities, oncology centers, and educational institutions, reflecting the importance of the event and the prestigious position of EGYPTAIR Hospital as a leading center for medical education and specialized training.
